Keep the drawing labels
Epson TM-T20III lists paper width79.5±0.5mm for its80mm configuration. That is different from treating any object advertised as “80mm” as a verified match. A nominal inch description may also be rounded in a retail listing.
Measure consistently
If you measure a sample, record the instrument, unit and which part you measured. A ruler across a tilted roll or a shipping-carton dimension cannot establish an accurate sheet width. We have not measured the featured commercial rolls.
Ask for the unresolved tolerance
A seller should clarify what its size means for the selected SKU. Do not choose the interpretation that makes a missing field pass. Keep the exact printer configuration with the purchase record.
